There is a special kind of pride in seeing a story that began in West End reach a national stage. In the 2026 Australian Dining Awards by Online Dining, Siam Samrarn Maroochydore was named National Winner – Best Thai and also received 2 Plates.
We are celebrating this milestone across the Siam Samrarn family. The recognition belongs to our Maroochydore restaurant, and it is a proud moment for the people and guests who have helped our story grow across West End, Graceville and the Sunshine Coast.

Our Sunshine Coast team has given the Siam Samrarn family a wonderful reason to celebrate. The National Winner – Best Thai award and the separate 2 Plates distinction recognise our Maroochydore venue in the 2026 Australian Dining Awards.

Our story began in West End
Siam Samrarn opened in West End, Brisbane, in December 2008. As we approach our 18th birthday this December, our original restaurant remains the home of the story: a place to gather around Thai food, share a meal and return with the people you love.
Over the years, that story has grown beyond West End. Graceville joined the family in 2023, and our Maroochydore restaurant brought Siam Samrarn to the Sunshine Coast. Each venue has its own community, while carrying the same name and love of Thai hospitality.
